Meet the Team…
At Figure Fairy we use online tools to support our clients with their Accounts, Tax, Payroll and VAT requirements. We pride ourselves on being friendly, offering easy to understand support and advice in an efficient and timely manner. We invest a lot of time in learning and setting up new technology to assist clients in running their own businesses efficiently. Our clients can then focus on running and growing their businesses whilst freeing up their time to do the things they love.

RACHAEL HAYES FCA
Founder
Rachael founded Figure Fairy in 2017. Having worked in practice for over 20 years, she decided it was time to go it alone so she could make a difference and provide a fantastic service to her clients. Rachael qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003, so has a number of years experience. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and running in the beautiful Cornish countryside.
SAM GIBBONS MAAT
Senior Client Manager
Sam joined the team in December 2020 and has 10 years practice experience. Sam prepares Accounts and Tax Returns for sole traders, partnerships and Ltd companies. Sam loves to help clients organise their accounting processes and find ways to save them time and money. In her spare time, she can either be found walking or training her two dogs with friends, or helping others train their own dogs.
Meg Angel
Client Support Assitant
Meg joined the team in September 2021. She is very patient, organised and loves to be helpful. Her role at Figure Fairy includes looking after the admin side of the practice, onboarding new clients and supporting the other team members. When Meg’s not at work she is kept busy running around after her two young boys and loves to spend the time with family, friends and her two dogs.
Malc Farmer AATQB
Bookkeeper
Malc joined the team in 2025 after spending more than 20 years in the haulage industry. Ready for a career change and with a passion for maths and figures, he moved into accountancy. He now specialises in bookkeeping, VAT returns, and MTD filings, helping clients stay organised and HMRC compliant. Outside of work, Malc enjoys playing golf, socialising with friends, and travelling the world in search of new adventures.
