New position available – Accounting and Payroll Technician

We partner with Xero, QBO, Receipt Bank, and other software companies to make the whole bookkeeping and accounting process as efficient as possible, giving our clients back more time to spend on doing the things they love.
We have experienced fantastic growth over the last few months and are now looking for a new team member to join us.
Skills / experience required:
- Great communicator
- Team player
- Enthusiasm to learn new technologies
- A love for systems and a desire to continuously challenge and improve them
- Being able to think outside the box
- Committed to work independently
- Visiting clients to deliver training, so being able to drive is essential
- Experience of Xero, QuickBooks Online and Receipt Bank desirable
- Previous payroll, accounts prep and bookkeeping experience preferred, although AAT trainee position will be considered
Key tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Bookkeeping and Accounts preparation
- Preparation of Personal Tax Returns
- Monthly payroll
- Monthly CIS Returns
- Dealing with HMRC
- Answering the phone and talking to clients
- Provide software training to clients
- Scanning documents and post
- Submission of Confirmation Statements
- Updating internal databases and system manuals
- Updating the website with client testimonials
- General admin duties

Salary is dependent upon experience, and training will be given.
